This outdoor handrail repair bracket by Anvil is pat pending. These repair feet are made of sturdy steel, offering a reliable solution for broken or rusted 1-inch handrail posts. The 6-inch high square tube repair length has a center solid square bar protruding 5 inches for proper alignment.Bar is welded in place and is not removable. This repair bracket was specifically designed for 1" x 1" square hollow posts only. it can than be inserted into the existing 1" railing post and no welding is needed. The product includes a primed and painted black finish. This USA-made bracket is custom fabricated in Pennsylvania, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and durability. It is designed for 1-inch square legs/posts/banisters and is an economical alternative to purchasing new rails. The repair process involves filling the existing leg with a strong bonding agent,cutting away any rust, sliding the square bar into the leg, drilling holes, and securing the bracket with pop rivets. The old hole from the railing can then be cleaned out and the new repair bracket cemented in. The product dimensions allow for 3" above or below the concrete depending on where you set your railing. These can also be used as table leg extensions or installing new railings.

• IMPORTANT: Please measure your metal posts carefully before purchasing your repair mount. Your railing must be removable for these handrail brackets to work. Your outdoor railing posts must be hollow to use this mount. Made specifically for core drilling a railing back into the concrete. What’s included is a 1” flange tube with support rod to slide inside the existing 1” railing post. This support bar is welded in place and does not come out. • WHAT SIZE TO ORDER: The best thing to do is measure the post leg right below the bottom horizontal bar of the railing to the cement. Normally anywhere from 3” – 8” depending on the post placement on the steps. What you are cutting off is the measurement of the new repair bracket you will need to order. Completely cut the post off right below that horizontal bar. Install new post mount.
